What kind of experience does 285 Creative have?

Roughly 20 years, when we started out as a video production company. Later, around 1993 Max met Shels at school ( called Full Sail in Winter Park FL )  where she was enrolled in the audio program, Max was in the video and film program. They both went on to teach there as work in the area. Shels at Sound Delux and Max taking various positions on the back lot of Universal and MGM studios. Around the same time, the internet was emerging and Max was bitten by the Web bug soon developing sites for himself, the school and then eventually clients. Both left Full Sail and Max followed Shels back to Colorado where he was hired at Matchlogic, the marketing and creative side of Excite.com as Senior Designer. Shortly after the Internet bubble burst Max returned to Florida briefly where he was the Director of New Media for travel and tourism ad agency YP&B in St. Petersburg. The job, beach and climate was great but Max missed Colorado,... of course and returned. Starting Timberline Group New Media specializing in Outdoor Sports media services. Having met the founders of Virtuas ( now Metresis ) Matt Filios and James Goodwill, Max took a job with them and stayed on as the company evolved into huge supporters of Open Source. Once Max and Shels found their new house in Bailey Colorado they instantly felt as if they had come home. The idea was to start a small design service for local business, companies and various non-profit organizations and bring their various skills in multimedia to the area. 285 Creative was born and then launched Rt285.com in an effort to give something back to the community.

Recently, Max had gotten sick and does what he can, where he can and Shels has taken the lead in addition to her Real Estate Appraisal business & Book Keeping - Also a few friends have jumped in to help as well. All of whom are long time creative professionals. There has been no reduction in services offered however and once Max is back on his feet we expect 285 to grow even larger. 285 Creative has vast knowledge and expertise in Video, Audio, Web Design & Development, Graphic Design, Application Development and Marketing.
